# Estova Trading Cards

Cards are NFTs on Monad. They are not art you park in a wallet, **a card is a buff you equip.**

Hold it and equip it, and the effect is live. Trade it away and the buff leaves with it, instantly, and turns on for whoever bought it.

## Genesis - the first set

## Supply and odds

| Rarity | Mint per card | Cards in set | Total | Draw chance |
| --------- | ------------- | ------------ | ----- | ----------- |
| Common | 36 | 49 | 1,764 | 52.6% |
| Uncommon | 20 | 49 | 980 | 29.2% |
| Rare | 8 | 56 | 448 | 13.4% |
| Legendary | 3 | 54 | 162 | 4.8% |
| ??? | 1 | 1 | 1 | 0.03% |

Draws are weighted against **remaining supply**, not fixed percentages. When a pool empties, its odds redistribute across what is left. Packs open instantly, case-style single-card reveal, then the card mints straight to your embedded wallet.

## How the buffs work

* A card grants its buff **only while equipped and held in your wallet.**
* Four equip slots. Different categories **stack additively**.
* Only **one card per category** counts. Equip a Common Guardian (+3% DEF) alongside a Rare Guardian III (+7.5% DEF) and you get 7.5%, not 10.5%.
* Nothing is auto-active, and there is no on/off toggle beyond equipping.

## What the categories cover

Life skills and expeditions, weapon, magic schools, progression, economy and more.

**Signature cards** are Rare or Legendary only, and they change how you play rather than nudging a percentage:

* **Lumber Lord** *(Legendary)* — always gather 3+ wood
* **Vein Breaker** *(Legendary)* — always gather 3+ ore
* **Deep Netter II** *(Legendary)* — +35% fishing efficiency
* **Master Chef II** *(Legendary)* — cooking time halved
* **The Devout II** *(Legendary)* — +20% prayer points
* **First Blood** *(Rare)* — your first hit in every fight is a crit
* **Trailblazer** *(Rare)* — one extra free expedition run daily, no energy
* **Last Will** *(Rare)* — keep your top 5 items on death instead of 3
* **Second Wind** *(Rare)* — survive one lethal hit at 1 HP per fight

## Collect, equip, and trade

Equip up to four cards at once. Trade cards for gems, skins, weapons, gear, mounts or gold. Stake one in a duel. Or simply sell it on the open market for $MON.

Trying bare-bones trading cards into a working in-game economy.
